Each summer, the Orleans Chamber of Commerce brings art, community, and local business together through Boards in the Stores — a one-of-a-kind Cape Cod tradition. Forty local businesses collaborate with talented artists to create custom surfboards that capture the color and character of Orleans life. Each board offers a slice of Cape Cod, with tastefully crafted depictions of beach life, local stores, and landmarks — then put up for auction so the community can take a piece of the experience home.

Proceeds support both the Orleans Chamber of Commerce and the participating local artists, making every bid a meaningful investment in the town’s creative and economic vitality. Whether you’re a longtime local or a summer visitor, Boards in the Stores is a celebration of the small-business spirit and artistic energy that make Orleans such a special place on the Cape.
