Cape Cod Rail Trail The Cape Cod Rail Trail is a former rail system that has been converted to a spectacular bike path that stretches 22 miles through the towns of Dennis, Harwich, Brewster, Orleans, Eastham and Wellfleet. Stop for a swim or get some lunch on your biking adventure. From Orleans the trail stretches west to Dennis and North to Wellfleet. Watch the major league players of tomorrow play baseball at its best. College stars from around the country are invited to play in the prestigious Cape Cod Baseball summer league each year. Eldredge Park is home to the Orleans Firebirds. Games are free and the atmosphere is good old fashioned fun. Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary 
Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary encompasses 1,100 acres of salt marsh, sandy beach, pine woodland, freshwater pond, and rare heathland attract a wide array of wildlife, especially songbirds and shorebirds. The scenic trails are complemented by the Nature Center’s green architecture, our friendly volunteers, and a beautiful butterfly and hummingbird garden. Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum 
Whether you come to Provincetown by boat, auto, or plane, you can’t miss the Pilgrim Monument. It stands high on a hill, overlooking the town center. The Pilgrim Monument was built to commemorate the “first landing” of the Mayflower Pilgrims in Provincetown on November 21, 1620, and their signing of the Mayflower Compact here. Nickerson State Park In Nickerson State Park you are surrounded by woods that slope down to the banks of eight crystal clear fresh water ponds. Yet, if you walk or bicycle through the woods, you will find no rivers or streams feeding the ponds. These are “kettle ponds,” among more than 300 formed as glaciers retreated from the Cape over 10,000 years ago. Nickerson’s 1900 acres offers more than 420 campsites, including yurt camping, an amphitheater, eight miles of roads, hiking trails, an eight mile bike path that connects to the 22 mile Cape Cod Rail Trail, and ponds stocked year-round with trout. Cape Cod Lighthouses There are many lighthouses dotting the coast from Falmouth to Provincetown offering great photo opportunities. Some are open and welcome visitors to take a tour inside. If you get an opportunity, it is worth the vertical scare. Stories abound about the role of these important beacons to ships navigating the Cape’s notoriously treacherous waters. Barnstable County Fair 
The Barnstable County Fair has been an annual summer tradition on Cape Cod for 164 years. The Fair is a yearly outing for many Cape Cod families where they can enjoy animal shows, 4-H demonstrations, petting zoos, horticulture displays, rides, games, live music, arts & crafts, food and commercial vendors with various arts and crafts for sale. Cape Cod Melody Tent The Cape Cod Melody Tent presents world-class entertainment in the scenic Cape Cod coastal community of Hyannis. A relaxed ambiance combines with an intimate theatre experience where every seat is within 50 feet of the stage. John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum The sea and shores of Hyannis Port inspired our 35th President like no other place on earth. Our museum captures the years JFK spent at the family compound in Hyannis Port-his time with family and friends, and with national and international persons of prominence.
